Optobahn Corporation announces the first first ever single mode 3.2 Gbps 8 Channel Transmitter/Receiver set, for telecom and datacom applications. This parallel optical interconnect features enhanced reliability
through a hermetically sealed package and conforms to Telcordia GR-468-CORE standards. The device incorporates the proven technology of a 1310 nm edge emitting laser. It is solder reflowable and is provided in a surface mount package. It is configured in packaging identical to all other Optobahn products, for simple interchange of parts. The unit delivers the purest transmission levels available.
