Description:
The Agility Model 3040-S Widely Tunable Laser Transmitter
is designed for use in DWDM systems where the capability
to change wavelength on demand over the entire “C?band
window of 1525 nm to 1565 nm with 50 GHz channel
spacing is essential.
The key elements of the Agility Tunable Laser Transmitter
(TLT) are the Agility SGDBR laser (in a high-reliability
hermetically sealed package), a digital controller, and
firmware.
Self-contained laser temperature and wavelength control
is included.
Also provided is the capability for use with an external
wavelength Locker for wavelength stabilization under
internal firmware control, as well as the ability for the user to directly control the SGDBR laser.
Polarization maintaining fiber pigtail with an FC-PC
connector (slow-axis keyed) is standard. User control is
available as either a serial or parallel logic level interface.
