Wavelength blockers are critical devices for reconfi gurable OADM solutions and for applications where dynamically blocking and balancing per-channel power is required. This unit can be remotely confi gured to block any combination of wavelengths and simultaneously attenuate the express wavelengths. It provides the customer with maximum fl exibility to dynamically reconfi gure the channels to be dropped or passed through at an OADM node. Wavelength blockers are based on Avanex proprietary technology platform.
